House Condominium is located in the Clinton Hill section
of Brooklyn (adjacent to Fort Greene) and consists of eleven
units, each a unique and special creation that brings a community
of special homes; each individually crafted and designed to
bring a special character of living to its inhabitants. Filled
with light, these new condominiums are spacious in their primary
living rooms but cozy and intimate in their detail.
Clinton Hill/Fort Greene has produced a lot of great buildings
and is considered an historic area of the first rank in Brooklyn.
It is therefore appropriate that the neighborhood’s newest
and most interesting condominium should be a lovingly restored
building that has been converted in such a beautiful and thoughtful
manner.
Although
its outside appearance is fully in keeping with its original
construction, and many original details have been preserved,
the layout and design of the interior construction was crafted
to make each apartment a unique and special home.
As the price of real estate in New York continues to rise the
value of every square foot becomes increasingly dear. With this
in mind, the builders sought to maximize every nook and cranny,
opening up living spaces wherever possible by increasing the
utility of every inch throughout.
Many
of the apartments are duplexes and triplexes, allowing a gracious,
townhouse feel for many of the larger condominium homes. This
melding of traditional with new is often best seen in the bathrooms
throughout the building. Elaborate tiling and traditional materials
are combined with modern Jacuzzi baths and bright lighting.
